Robert A. Cohen
CEO
Robert A. Cohen, CEO and Founder, has an extensive background in real estate law and management. Prior to founding R. A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., he was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Imperial Properties, Inc. Prior to that, Bob enjoyed a long and successful career as Vice President and General Counsel of M. J. Raynes Incorporated during its period of dominance in co-op conversions in the 1980s. Bob began his professional career as an associate at Proskauer Rose, one of the nation’s largest law firms. He is a graduate of the NYU School of Law.
Ralph Della Cava
President
Ralph Della Cava, President and Principal, joined Bob as a founding partner of R. A. Cohen & Associates, Inc. in 1990. Ralph leverages his experience in investment and acquisition analysis, real estate development and finance to ensure consistent growth. Ralph oversees all acquisition, disposition and financial strategies and has helped the firm grow into new and emerging markets throughout its 30-year history. His in-depth market knowledge and commitment to integrity have laid the foundation for the firm’s continued success.
Harry Stephenson
Vice President
Harry Stephenson, Vice President of R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., oversees the project management division in addition to new property acquisitions. Harry is responsible for all renovations across the R.A. Cohen portfolio, including apartment and interior rehabs, as well as exterior restorations.
After graduating from Columbia University where he majored in Sociology with a concentration in Art History, Harry first joined R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., as a property manager, and has since taken on a variety of roles & responsibilities. Outside of work, he is passionate about the emerging contemporary art world. His artistic eye and attention to detail enhances the company by keeping its properties on the forefront of modern design.
Dustin Zucker
Vice President
Dustin Zucker, Vice President of R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., oversees all day-to-day property management & operations in addition to new property acquisitions and client relations. Prior to joining R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc., Dustin was a Senior Manager at one of the largest property management firms in North America. In his role there, he helped grow their Multifamily Rental Division nationally.
Dustin received his Master’s Degree in Real Estate Investment & Finance from New York University, and brings with him a keen understanding of Real Estate budget and acquisition analysis.
Peter Sverdlov, CPA
Vice President of Accounting
Peter Sverdlov is a seasoned executive with over fifteen years of experience in financial management, corporate finance and audit leadership, particularly in the real estate sector. He previously led a team of over 100 associates at New York's largest property management firm, focusing on client accounting operations and enhancing financial service delivery. Peter has also held significant roles at Mazars USA, LLP, and Marcum LLP, where he managed audit engagements and improved internal controls and financial reporting processes.
Peter is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of New York and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College, graduating Cum Laude. With a proficiency in a wide range of financial software and a commitment to professional development, Peter Sverdlov continues to drive innovation and excellence in the field of financial management, contributing to the success and growth of R.A. Cohen & Associates, Inc.
